Day 1: Wednesday March 25, 2009
Breakfast: Bowl of Kellogs flakes with strawberries(lactose free 2% milk)
Snack: 1 brown sugar pop tart (Usually eat both in package - wanted to , but didn't)
Lunch: Turkey sandwich on Multi-grain honey oat bread, mayo & cheese
Snack: Low Fat Vanilla yogurt with about 6-10 grapes (usually just shove them in my mouth and don't pay any attention to the amount)
Dinner: BK mini burgers-2 meal with fries (Something went terribly wrong here - almost ordered the chocolate chip cookies. Almost.)
For exercises I woke up an hour earlier than I would normally - Did my 30 minutes of cardio (Almost passed out a few times. I became winded after the first 8 minutes, but carried on)Then, after work I walked the trail at the park 3 times (1 hr)
Let's see how long this lasts.......I am going to make it work....less talk of accomplishment and more achievement. I am aiming towards feeling healthier, eating better, having more energy, etc. It is less about being overweight and more about how I feel. For the sake of my recordings, lets say I would like to drop within the 10-15 pound range. I can't really put each pound lost because I hardly ever go on the scale, but when I do scale myself I will make a note if I have shed any number of poundage.

Multi-grain bread is deceiving because although it's yummy and seems healthy, it generally still contains enriched bleached flour. Aim for whole grain instead. And you went through Burger King, but you don't do it every day so I say so what? Although, next time try to just get the burgers instead of adding the fries. Pop Tarts are very similar to toast with your own healthy toppings when it comes to flavor(except Pop Tarts are full of sugar and man-made junk)like toast with real butter and homemade cinnamon sugar using cane sugar, not white = much healthier than a Poop Tart! Little tweaks make a big difference and don't deprive you of what you want.
