It has been sometime....

I have neglected my blog for awhile. So sorry :( let me catch up as several things have occurred in my absence.

I went to a concert: Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction:

I thought that Nine Inch Nails was good, but I expected a lot more from them. Seeing them for the first time and hearing about their kick ass concerts. however, considering that it seemed Jane's Addiction was the headliner, I suppose the subdued performance from Nine Inch Nails fit right in with the Alternative vibe. Jane's Addiction was fun, crazy, and completely out there. The lead singer reminded me of actor Christian Bale. Think Christian Bale with a bright shiny vinyl pair of tight pants, a bright pink collared shirt unbuttoned, and a bright colored Boa to suit any respectable drag queen or Bachelorette on her last night of so called "Freedom." Now, add some heavy drugs and a bottle of Champagne. Yup. You got it. Perry Farrell was a phenomenal showman on stage. Let's not forget how sexy and amazing Guitarist Dave Navarro is as well.
The concert was at an outside arena and proved to be a crowd pleaser. A ton of adoring fans, perfumed the air with their signature herbal scents, and lingered drunkenly on the grass. Others, cheered and sang along to every song. The night was fun, memorable, and exciting.

Recently, I made a trip with my boyfriend and our friends to Naples Zoo.

It was hot...beautiful, but hot! The zoo is very cute and had several displays that were interesting. Bears, White Tigers, Alligators, snakes, and Monkeys. The Monkeys were my favorite. One particular species mates with their selected mate for life. How sweet is that? Like the vow so many of us humans make and break, "til' death do us part" holds true with these monkey's.We ate subway, our friends fed the ducks and petted them like kittens. We saw Zebras, and a Lion with a bit of a Tummy ache. The day was eventful and fun. I'd have to say that if you have never been and are interested or have kids it is worth the $20 admission. However, personally, I don't think it would be worth a second trip on my list.

The last thing to catch you up on. We went to see the Cirque Du Soleil - Saltimbanco

After seeing La Nuba years ago at Disney, I have been a fan. My boyfriend had never seen a show so we went to Saltimbanco which is one of their newer touring shows. This was more of a circus type of show than the other I have seen. It was still entertaining and had that gasping quality. The performers were extremely creative, fun, talented, and interactive with the audience. Several people who have also seen this show and most others felt that Saltimbanco was on the lower rating scale. For, my boyfriend he really enjoyed it. For myself, La Nuba was by far a better show, but Saltimbanco brought a different and smaller flare that I did enjoy. If you are a fan. check it out and see what you think.

Now your caught up for the most part. Thanks for stopping By :)
