This week is rounding up and I have not exercised a single day until today.
Breakfast: Strawberry flavored instant oatmeal
Snack: Medium Hazelnut Coffee w/ cream & sugar (Dunkin' Doughnuts)
Lunch: Turkey wrap - Cheese, mayo, mustard, & lettuce on a wheat Tortilla Wrap, i small apple, and about 7-10 Doritos (Ranch)
-My mother used to never allow me to eat Ranch Doritos because they made my breath smell bad...Ha...the things you can do when your all grown up.
Snack: 1/2 Ice cream Sundae Pop Tart - YUCK! I just ate around the perimeter
Dinner: Green Beans with spicy dipping sauce, 2 Crab Won tons and a ginger grilled chicken salad (Only half of dish) with water
We ate at our favorite Chinese Bistro, P.F. Chang's. As usual everything was tasty, but very filling as well. I did not ask for my salad dressing on the side. I ended up with half a plate full of salad that I couldn't take home because by tomorrow it would be a soggy mess. Note to self: Next time order dressing on the side.
Afterward, we got about a good 45 minutes worth of walking in. I am going to make up for the lack of exercise this week, tomorrow, Saturday, & Sunday. Even if I only walk, at least I will be getting in 3 days of exercise this week.
Bonus for me:
I beat my urge for chocolate & sweets twice today. One was after lunch, I chose a piece of gum instead of a candy out of the machine filled with tasty treats that torments me daily.
The machine is literally to the left of my door entrance into my office. Every time I get tempted, I stare at the choices looking back so innocently and I say to myself, "So, do I want, thighs, Butt, or tummy...?" It is at that moment by giving this option to myself that I realize, my thighs could use some toning, my butt some lifting, and my tummy some definition. In this time I have managed to talk myself out of the glorious sweets that wait patiently in that machine.
Second, after dinner..It took me everything inside not to order the fried Banana dessert. (Dessert = Stressed spelled backwards people)I took a moment to examine how full I was and analyzed what I would feel like if I continued to shovel food into my stomach. I was comfortably full, not overstuffed. I felt like I could breathe. I thought to myself, if I were to eat the dessert, then I would feel full, bloated and tired. The sluggishness would kick in and I would be overstuffed. Not a great feeling, it sort of weighs you down. So, I politely turned down the offer to have dessert and gladly accepted the light, crunchy, just enough sweetness, and satisfying taste of my Fortune Cookie.

OK so I was devistated when Joe read in Men's Health that PF Chang's is the worst place to eat out at. They make everything seem fresh and healthy when in fact it's loaded with salt, calories and high fat (even the veggie items). I was crushed, though we don't have one close enough to us for it to be a real issue for me. Just thought I'd share the depressing news.
