Marley & Me stars Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. I must say these two are two of my favorite actors in Hollywood. I love Jenifer for her natural essence that she brings to every character. Owen Wilson, I love his look. He has the most imperfect nose that gives him this attractive and sexy quality.
The two go through their life journey together, some events being planned, while others were not quite as they planned things to turn out. The movie followed their marriage, relationship with Man's Best Friend, Marley,the decision to have children, moving the family, job offerings, etc. There were moments in the movie that brought laughter. Also, moments that brought tears. It brought me back to my Freshman Year when I watched Old Yeller and wailed my eyes out. Only this time I am more secure with myself, so I wasn't embarrassed by my tears.
Simply Red Review 5 : This movie is a definite animal lovers movie. I laughed, and cried, and cried. I became emotionally attached to this dog as much as the characters did. Cudos go out to the trainer of the dogs used for this film. Marley showed to be a unique character on his own. The movie showed a truth of the progression of a family, pets included.
