This weekend was a real treat! My wonderfully thoughtful boyfriend took me to the spa on Friday night :) We both received treatments to relax and rejuvenate our souls. He works very hard and often times works overtime for his company. He is always working to help provide for us.
The spa was so enchantingly blissful, from the music they were playing, the decor, to the accommodating and very caring and friendly staff. The treatments were incredible. For most of the weekend my mind was completely clear. Imagine not being able to think about one single thing. No worries of bills or finances. No worrying about what you need to get done for work or at the house. Not a feeling of anxiety, stress, incompleteness, worry, doubt, or anger. Pure and effortless peace. My mind was at ease, peacefully tranquil and quiet. The cost was not even a mere fraction of the benefits of the treatments we received. However, beyond the actual treatments, the feeling that we left with is priceless. It was like a soul cleansing. A complete tune up of the engine of your body, your mind.
Imagine if everyone took time to relax, unwind, and pamper themselves, maybe the world would be filled with less anger, hostility, and animosity.
By the end of the night Saturday, my mind and body were back to the worrying, stressful, and tense state that they are usually in. It would be amazing if I could make my whole life more Zen. If only I could incorporate that kind of intense peace and quiet throughout my everyday life. For now, I think that I will start with baby steps and try to get to the spa for some spa therapy once a month or every other month. Then, I will work on maintaining that inner tranquility.
I believe that everyone is in need of some Spa Therapy. Tranquility and peace is vital to a healthy state of mind. Pure quiet is more therapeutic than one could ever think. If Spa Therapy is my sweet addiction, then no need for rehab here. Leave me to the peace and serenity of my Mind and Soul.
