I can't believe that Easter is here already. I searched online to find a picture and I chose the rainbow coloration of PEEPS. They are colorfully sugared little marshmallow chicks. I must say they are one of my most favorite Easter treats. I can't believe that it has already been 1 whole year since the baptism of our Goddaughter. I can't believe that out of every 50 pictures I found online representing Easter, only one, if one, was a true representation of what Easter is in a religious nature. I found pictures of candies, flowers, bunnies, more candies, more bunnies, and a baby taking a picture with an evil terrorizing nightmarish bunny. That was a bit scary, even for me. It saddened me that of all of these there were barely any pictures with a religious representation. Where is the belief system in people? Does it only stand for bunnies, chocolates, and eggs on Easter?
This Easter we will be at David's sister's house for lunch. I have decided to try to contribute this year. Every family gathering we have, I bring no food contribution. Mainly because quite factually, I can't really cook much of anything. This year, I thought that I would try.I will be bringing a batch of fudge I made (My first time ever.) Also, although most never eat it, I will still bring the Ambrosia salad. It is colorful and festive. Not to mention super easy.
