I watched Death Race a few weeks ago when we had a movie night with some friends. I honestly have been bored to death with every movie ending as though there will be a sequel. There is something very aggravating about a story not reaching it's finish line.
This movie followed thru to the end. It had the kind of action that has you yelling at the television. I was rooting for Jensen Ames, played by Jason Statham (Transporter) to kick some major Booty! The movie has anger and hostility with an under lying debt to pay kind of love. The movie was predictable, but very few aren't these days.
Simply Red Review 5 : It was a good movie for guys, but I think I was more into the action than the guys were. Not to mention Jason Statham isn't hard on the eyes.
0 - Don't even bother wasting any amount of $ on this flick
1- Deserves a chance - when it's on T.V.
2- Has potential for a rental
3 -Can wait for a Blockbuster Night
4 -Go see in the theater
5 - Must See!!!
